Waterhouse is a tranquil restaurant on the banks of London's Regent's Canal serving locally-sourced, freshly-made seasonal food. A social enterprise founded by London charity, Shoreditch Trust, it adheres to regeneration and sustainability principles.
What we love
A great ethos behind this laid-back restaurant helps supports its local community through training programmes for young people who've faced homelessness, mental health problems, knife crime and gang violence. With the proceeds from the restaurant poured back into the local community; solar panels providing enough energy to power the kitchens; and not a scrap of food wasted, Waterhouse's circular model is an example for other eco-conscious restaurants to follow.
