Tresta creates products from the waste from wine production – stems, seeds and skins – known as pomace. It's biodegradable, currently being made into wine chillers and light fittings.
What we love
We've never been ones to waste wine, but this makes the most of wine waste. 200,000 tonnes of pomace is generated each year in Germany alone – Tresta makes it into biodegradable light fittings and wine coolers with character.
