The Clean Kilo is the UK's Largest zero-waste supermarket, based in Birmingham. It sells many of the same items you'd expect in a regular supermarket – frozen and fresh food, household items and toiletries – but items are packaging-free. Fill up your own reusable jars, bags and containers, saving packaging waste from landfill.
What we love
The Clean Kilo saved almost 130,000 pieces of plastic from ending up in landfill in its first year alone, by encouraging people to bring their own containers with them. Simple.
