Seabin is a global project using technology, education and comprehensive research to create what the co-founders call ‘a rubbish bin for water’. The unit floats around marinas, ports and yacht clubs, pumping water through to capture floating debris, macro and micro fibres and organic material – sucking up to 3.9kg of waste a day.
What we love
Marine water in 50 different countries is already being cleaned by Seabins. Created by boat-lovers and product designers, the Seabin is a future-friendly solution to reducing marine waste and reintroducing plastics back into the economy.
